The new addition to the Warrnambool Racing Club is the grandstand and iconic ‘Matilda Room’  function spaces.

Over two-storeys the facility includes a large multi-purpose room with bars and commercial kitchen facilities. This room will be used to host race day functions, weddings and other conferences. Capable of seating up to 500 patrons.

The room also includes indoor seating with a view over the race track.

Separate bar facilities and amenities were also included.

A large balcony was constructed to view the racing from, with an outdoor bar included.

Downstairs the facilities include cafe and kitchen, common dining areas, amenities and walk-up bar for all patrons and private bar for owners and trainers to utilise.
